The Life Story of Jessica Alba

Voted as the sexiest woman in the world, Jessica Marie Alba is a gift for all mankind. She is famous for her tightly clothed film characters and ethnic looks.

Jessica Alba was born in Pomona, California to a Mexican-American father and a French/Danish- American mother. She has a younger brother, named Joshua. Her father worked for the Air Force and his career took the household to many areas, just before settling back in California.

Jessica Alba was nine years old when the household lastly settled down in California.For the duration of her expanding years, Jessica Alba was marred with wellness issues. Twice she suffered collapsed lungs, had pneumonia numerous times a year, a ruptured appendix and a cyst on her tonsils. Throughout childhood, she suffered from obsessive-compulsive disorder.

At the age of 16, she graduated from high school and attended the Atlantic Theater Firm.When she was 5 years old, she was keen on becoming an actress. She began taking acting lessons when she was 12 years old. When Alba was 13 years old, she began her tv and film appearances in ‘Camp Nowhere’ and ‘The Secret Planet of Alex Mack.Within no time, she was undertaking national commercials for Nintendo and J.C Penney. She also starred as a dolphin’s greatest buddy in the Tv show ‘Flipper’.

Her greatest break came when James Cameron chose her to be his genetically engineered super-soldier on the Fox sci-fi series, ‘Dark Angel’. Needless to say, the series was a stupendous hit. She won the Alternative Actress Teen Selection Award and Saturn Award for Greatest Actress for her overall performance in the ‘Dark Angel’ series. Sadly, her film ‘Honey’ did not do effectively at the box office. But, her subsequent films ‘Fantastic Four’ and ‘Sin City’ struck gold at the box workplace, thus producing her a single of the most bankable stars in Hollywood.

On the ‘Hot 100’ section of Maxim, Jessica Alba is a frequent sight. Also, she was voted number 1 on the AskMen.com list of “99 Most Desirable Ladies” in the year 2006. In the year 2001, Jessica Alba was voted as the ‘sexiest woman in the world’ by FHM.She has also appeared on the cover of Playboy, which resulted in a lawsuit, but was subsequently dropped.

Nowadays, she is filming the comedy film written by Mike Myers, ‘The Adore Guru’. She has also sworn to her fans that she will by no means pose nude in front of the camera, regardless how excellent the film is. On May 19th 2008, she married her boyfriend, Cash Warren. They met on the sets of ‘Fantastic Four’ in the year 2004. On June 7th 2008, she delivered a child girl, Honor Marie Warren at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.

Jessica Alba has been performing a lot for charitable causes. Clothes of our Back, National Center for Missing and Exploited Young children, Soles4Souls, to name a couple of are some of the charitable organizations that Alba has lend a helping hand. Democratic presidential hopeful, Barack Obama has been significantly supported by Jessica Alba in the 2008 U.S elections.
